CNC Miller Setter/Operator

The Role: As a CNC Miller Setter/Operator your role involves the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines.
Your expertise in machine setup, and precision machining will ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet strict industry standards and specifications. You will work closely with engineers, and other manufacturing personnel to achieve efficient and accurate machining operations.
Main Responsibilities:
Setting and operating of CNC machines.
Monitoring of OEE data including FourJaw
Working to close tolerances on a variety of materials to engineering drawings.
Directly involved in continuous improvement programs and quality control.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years' experience in setting and operating CNC machines, including installing workpieces, fixtures, cutting tools.
Ability to select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for the machining process.
Must be self-motivated, shows initiative, has the ability to problem solve and work alone.
A sound working knowledge and understanding of machine tooling and proper tool usage is essential.
Good attention to detail
In-depth knowledge and experience in operating CNC machines, specifically Heidenhain & Fanuc Controls
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Strong understanding of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code).

Hours of Work & Benefits:
Monday Friday (Rotational Shifts)
£15.50 - £18.00 per hour + 25% Shift Allowance
