Our customer, is one of the leading rubber and plastics converters in the UK.
A family run business, that specialises in producing tailor-made solutions, for customers in the Automotive and Point of Sale (POS) industries.
They are seeking to expand their Quality Team, to take them into new product areas and consolidate a strong position in current markets.
The customer is looking for someone with innovative solutions, meticulous quality standards, and experience in automotive or similar industry.
You will have excellent communication skills when dealing with customers, auditors, and internal production teams.
The role is based at our site in Great Dunmow, Essex.
Duties to include:
Shaping of Quality policy and strategy.
Management of quality function and QMS (Quality Management System).
Manage internal audit of the QMS (Quality Management System) and production processes.
Control of RGH suppliers for quality.
Completion of the Production Part Approval process (PPAP).
Tracking and Monitoring RGH Health and Safety requirements
Organising Audits for Warehousing, Logistics and Production.
Organisation of Risk Assessments.
Key skills and experience:
Engineering background useful, as is experience of ITAAF environment.
Knowledge and experience of ISO quality standards
Experience inof manufacturing and production processes.
Experience of Internal and external Auditing.
Attention to detail essential.
Effective communication skills.

Standard hours are 9.00 am to 17.30 pm Monday to Friday
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £50,000 per year
8 hour shift Flexible/hybrid working
