Job Title: Senior Sales Consultant
Salary:up to £70,000 per annum dependent upon experience
Location: Cheltenham or Bristol

Our client is looking for a Senior Sales Consultant to join their team. The role can be based at their site just outside of Cheltenham or their site in Bristol. Established more than 60 years ago, they are the partner of choice for aerospace customers and OEM's around the world supporting and supplying established aircraft parts.
With capabilities spanning various aerospace sectors, their long-term, established investments with leading aviation OEMs enable them to divest their product lines, freeing them to focus on the future. As an OEM themselves, they continue to develop, innovate, and supply established parts to some of the world's leading fleets, making sure customers are able to receive the availability and support they need.
The Senior Sales Consultant will be joining an established sales team of 7 which will grow to a team of 9 once at full capacity. This is a permanent position working Monday- Friday with flexible start/ finish times, working a 37 hour week. Please note that the post holder would be expected on site full time unless they are travelling to visit clients. Travel will consist of customer sites/ trade shows/ air shows in the UK (once per month average) as well as some international travel (once per quarter average)

Main Responsibilities:

• You will support and lead the company's strategic distribution relationships in the UK.
• You will identify new and existing customers' potential and leverage opportunities to grow sales with existing products by using sales data effectively.
• You will also present performance data to internal stakeholders to help demand planning.
• Within the role, you'll travel on a domestic and international basis to visit distribution partners and participate in Industry Trade Shows from time to time

About You:

• You will come from an aerospace background (this is essential)
• Experience in a previous sales role is advantageous but not essential provided you have previous experience in a customer facing role
• Possess strong influencing and communication skills.
• You will have a passion for building and managing client relationships while achieving annual sales targets through converting quotes and sales campaigns into firm orders.
• Experience of analysing data is preferable to ensure what stock is required and when
